Chicago during the Great Depression. Two sons, Michael Sullivan Jr. and Conor Rooney, are desperate to win the favor of their parents, Michael Sullivan Sr., a gangster from an Irish clan, and John Rooney, Sullivan Sr.'s boss, who replaced his father.
