At the beginning of the 20th century, several enthusiasts from different European countries decided to jointly realize an ambitious dream - to create a football organization that would unite the whole world! They called it the International Football Federation or FIFA for short... The basis of the film is an intriguing and slightly scandalous story based on real events about the origin of the World Cup and three obsessed people who contributed to its holding. Jules Rimet, Joao Avelange and current FIFA President Joseph "Sepp" Blatter - three very different people lived at different times in different countries. They made enemies, made compromises, became victims of betrayal - but they did everything to make the World Cup a reality. This more than century-old story glorifies the game, which, despite everything, has become not only a World Sport, but also the personification of Hope, Fortitude and Unity.
