Aaron, a Scottish fisherman who becomes the sole survivor of a fatal fishing trip. The tragedy took the lives of five people, including his older brother. The local community, whose inhabitants believe in superstitions, blame the hero for the tragedy, which turns him into an outcast among his fellow villagers. Refusing to believe that his brother and the rest of the fishermen are dead, Aaron decides to bring them home.
