The Childhood of a Leader

The story of the fate of a small American boy, Charles Prescott, living in France in 1918. His father works for the US government and participates in the development of the Versailles Peace Treaty. What the boy witnesses has a decisive influence on the formation of his beliefs, and before us unfolds the picture of the birth of a terrible personality.
