Oleg Mykolayovych Karavaychuk was born in 1927. As a child, as a young genius, he played the piano for Stalin; studied at the Leningrad Conservatory, and during his career he mostly wrote music for theater and cinema, for example, for Parajanov and Muratova. In Russia, not only his music and playing are admired, but also his personality. Duque became the first foreigner to win the trust of an eccentric Russian.
