Meg Murry is used to finding herself in this world, to problems with self-esteem. Her physicist father disappeared without a trace during an incredible scientific experiment, and now the girl just dreams of finding him again. Her father's genes are visible in her and in her younger brother - both are gifted with a brilliant mind, which has not yet been realized. And now the girl comes up with the crazy idea of traveling through the folds of time, if only it were possible. She and her brother and classmate Kelvin go to incredible and very beautiful worlds, where they meet Mrs. Kakaya, Mrs. Who, and Mrs. Something. They came from deep space to help their friends find Mr. Murrah. Traveling between worlds that are impossible to even imagine, they have many adventures, fight against a strong evil that is always nearby. The strength to overcome all this must be sought within oneself - after all, there is the same immense peace.
