But the glamorous department store "Ladies' Happiness" located opposite sweeps away all the independent shops in the vicinity. She finds a job there. Under the musical accompaniment of the Canadian composer Gabriel Thibodeau, the vocal parts are performed by the soloist Sophie Fournier.
