The story is based on real events that took place in Ungvar (now Uzhhorod) in 1944. This is the story of the escape of one Hungarian couple, Rudolph and Silvia, from the occupation of the Red Army. Each of their attempts to leave the country comes to a dead end. However, when they finally find a way to escape, they suddenly waver. What choice will the heroes make?
