For forensic pathologist Paul Herzfeld, the next corpse seemed to be no different from all the others that had been before him. But a foreign body was found in the dead man's head - a note with the phone number and name of Paul's daughter. When he called, he learned that his little girl had been kidnapped. To find her, Herzfeld must put together a puzzle of corpses - this is how the homicidal maniac is going to give the next clues to the man. All the characters in this story are located on the small island of Heligoland, which means that they are very close to each other.
