As a child, Xiaomen saw the death of her mother in a cloud of ash on one of the islands of the Pacific Volcanic Ring of Fire. The girl grew up and followed in the footsteps of her parents - she became a seismologist, however, relations with her father never improved after that tragic incident. With a team of scientists, Xiaomen comes to the same ill-fated island to install a new monitoring system for volcanic activity, as a new resort opens at the foot of the volcano, and the business owner does not want to hear about the potential danger. But soon a new eruption will begin, and the paradise island will turn into a sea of fire.
