In the dressing room of the famous Kyiv theater "Dakh", seven actresses came up with the Dakh Daughters project. Their first stage show "Rose" introduced the world to a modern interpretation of the art of cabaret, which in its absolute carnival freedom knows how to entertain the audience with the most serious topics. At this very time, events are unfolding in the country, which have become the beginning of an era of significant changes not only in society, but also in the minds of thousands of people. The revolution of 2014 and the war reveal the subtleties of characters, worldviews, and creative reflections of the heroines. A tragicomic musical in which 7 actresses of the famous Kyiv Dakh theater created an intellectual freak-cabaret band "Dakh Daughters", and exactly one year later, together with many Ukrainians, they had to go to the Maidan for the right to live in the country, which can be a beautiful flower among the free countries of Europe. The film documents the documentary events of 2014, which became the beginning of what is happening in Ukraine today - the incredible unity of the Ukrainian people against the Russian attack on Ukraine, Europe, and the entire free world. By means of a musical and theatrical performance, the film reveals the beauty and difficulties of following one's own path - women, artists, citizens. Looking closely at each of the artists, we will discover seven roles, seven images of femininity, seven ways of being yourself and seven life credos.
