Agent Hellboy and his partner from the Bureau of Paranormal Investigation and Protection return after the disruption of a mystical ritual that could be the beginning of the invasion of monsters from other dimensions into our world. Although the mission goes well, at least by Hellboy's standards, the heroes end up in a car wreck. Once in an abandoned village, they meet the Hunchback, who terrorizes the locals, collects their souls and subdues them.
