When one of her students is suspected of theft, Carla Novak, a young idealistic teacher, decides to get to the bottom of the matter. However, her seemingly innocent actions later lead to a series of thefts at school. Events unfold towards the worst scenarios, exposing all the negative features of the education system, the influence of teachers, parents and students on each other. One dramatic event turns into psychological warfare, and Carla finds herself torn between her ideals and the school system, where the consequences of her actions threaten to break her.
