The childhood of the main character Lily Bloom was never a fairy tale, because for many years she was a witness of domestic violence from her father. As an adult, the girl moves to Boston to start anew and realize her dream of opening a flower shop. A chance meeting with the charming neurosurgeon Ryle Kincaid changes her life. However, Lily later begins to notice aspects of Riley that remind her of her father. So the girl will have to make a difficult choice to break this cycle.
