"KISFF Winners" is a program of the winning films of the Kyiv International Short Film Festival, which impressed the audience and won high praise from the jury. Each of these films, from stories of memory and loss to short footage from different parts of the world, captures the ambiguity and contradictions of our time. Read more The program includes the brightest hits of the new Ukrainian short meter - the animated "Kyiv cake" by Mykyta Lyskov about a family in Ukraine and the difficulties it has to deal with, and "Prelude" by Alina Panasenko, which is distinguished by a bold and distinctly punk approach to form and theme. These films became the winners of the Ukrainian KISFF competition. Also in the selection are the international winners of KISFF: the story of an immortal parrot, a loyal friend of Marshal Tito, who ruled Yugoslavia for 35 years ("Cookie, bye!", dir. Quenton Miller), a phantasmagorical story about the discovery of one's own unique voice (Ali, directed by Adnan Al Rajiv) and a dramatic story about the search for motherly love (Rage, directed by Fran Moreno Blanco and Santi Puhol Amat).
