The rich playboy David had everything: money, his own publishing company, an expensive car and an apartment in a respectable area of New York, a writer friend and girlfriend Julianne, even enemies, in the form of seven executives of his company, were there too. So he lived without looking back, until at one fine moment he met Sofia. His life changed dramatically soon after this meeting, David got into a car accident and woke up from a coma disabled with a disfigured face, which has to be covered with an "aesthetic prosthesis", which is actually a simple mask. And then his new life turned into a nightmare from which one cannot wake up.
